"Our children, teachers, staff and parents were set to walk on an uncharted path for the 2020-2021 school year, with a worldwide pandemic taking our way of life to a new uncertainty. We did not know what in-person back to school would look like. School life is drastically different this year, not just for the students but for the schools themselves and for their families.

With the start of the new school year a lot needs to happen so the students can learn and thrive without raising the risk of spreading COVID-19.  SJB followed school guidelines diligently for opening safely by ensuring physical distancing, face masks, good hygiene, temperature checks, disinfecting and sanitizing, and spacing out the classroom and cafeteria seating and plastic dividers everywhere. I know my child is welcome as a family member and that her safety, health and education is SJB’s top priority. Positive communication has traveled regarding SJB’s contingency and safe approach to re-open and led to new families transferring their kids. My child has been a student at SJB for 10 yrs. Each day when I pick her up from school, she is happy and laughing, talking about the new way of school, her classes, basketball and funny things that happen through the day. A parent can’t ask for anything more."
